Jaffa wallpaper, designed by Erik Bruun, is based on the 1950s vintage soft drink poster. The cheerful bottles pop out of the grey background. This sparkling, fresh, and energetic design adds a burst of colour to everyday interiors. The design can be used for full coverage or as statement walls in spaces of all sizes. Jaffa wallpaper is part of Vallila’s wallpaper collection ”Pohjola”. The designs of the Pohjola collection comes in shades of grey, cognac, leather, blue and teal to capture your imagination. The timelessly elegant colour palette can be used to create a range of moods from calm simplicity to bold and striking schemes. The designs in the Pohjola collection are based on the textile designs of Vallila’s Autumn/Fall 2017 collection and they evoke motifs of Nordic mythology. In addition to the designs the wallpaper collection features decorative and matching solid color wallpapers. The wallpaper material is user-friendly fibre wallpaper. It is easy to attach by applying glue directly on the surface to be covered with the wallpaper, and by placing the dry wallpaper on top of it. Fibre wallpaper does not require any preparation before its attachment; and after it has been attached, it can still be moved, straightened and positioned correctly for several minutes before it dries in its place. Fibre wallpaper is a mixture of cellulose and polyester fibre, and is also suitable for the kitchen, for example, as it can handle dents better than paper wallpaper, and it can be wiped clean with a damp cloth.
