The grandmother of pattern designer Saara Kurkela’s mother was called Hulda Palmujuuri. The pattern named after Hulda is spectacular and exotic, as was Saara’s great-grandmother. This design, describing a palm garden, is the designer’s personal favourite in the collection, as she particularly likes strong colours and a continuous finish. Hulda is a multi-purpose pattern, suitable for festive and everyday use.
Aprons of the Vallila kitchen textile line are made of 100 % cotton. All the sides of an apron are finished by hemming. Apron strings run from the waist, making a loop around the back of the neck, and back to the other side of the waist. The length of the neck loop and the tightness of the waist string can thus be adjusted smoothly to fit wearers of any size. The width of the apron (hem) is 82 cm, and the height (in the centre) is 84 cm.
